How do I install the Adobe Premiere templates
for creating animated thumbnails representing my effects? To help
you create animated thumbnails (GIFs) that represent your custom realtime
effects, two Adobe Premiere project files are available for you to
use as working templates. An Adobe Premiere settings file is also
available that provides the appropriate presets for exporting your
animated GIF. To download and install these Premiere files:
1. In the Login section, select Download templates
from the list provided.
2.Select either fxzone Template (NTSC) or fxzone
Template (PAL) to download fxzone Template Material.zip to an A/V
drive on your computer. fxzone Template Material.zip contains the
following files:
* fxzone Transition Template.ppj Adobe Premiere project file you
can use as a template to create animated GIFs of your custom transitions.
* fxzone Filter Template.ppj Adobe Premiere project file you can
use as a template to create animated GIFs of your custom filters
(video effects).
* fxzone.matrox.com Animated GIF.prs Adobe Premiere settings file
required to export GIFs from your Timeline.
* A.avi and B.avi Video clips that appear on the Premiere Timeline
when you open either fxzone Transition Template.ppj or fxzone Filter
Template.ppj.
3. Extract the contents of the zipped file to the
same folder, or to a folder specifically for these files (such as
My FXZone) on your A/V drive.
4.Double-click either fxzone Transition Template.ppj
or fxzone Filter Template.ppj to launch Adobe Premiere with the
two video clips, A.avi and B.avi, on the Timeline.
Note: If the Locate File dialog box opens in Adobe
Premiere requesting the location of the .avi files, re-establish
the link to these clips by navigating to the folder where you've
extracted the contents of the zip file. Then, save the project.
5. Before you can export your animated GIF
to fxzone.matrox.com, you must install the Adobe Premiere settings
file fxzone.matrox.com Animated GIF.prs. Copy it to the Settings
folder where you installed Adobe Premiere, such as C:\Program Files\Adobe\Premiere
6.5\Settings.
